As a longtime advocate for Mental Health Awareness, I feel everyone deserves someone to talk to and bounce ideas off of. That someone should be unbiased, productive, and an active listener. They should allow space for growth at your own pace, not at the pace themselves or someone you (or they) compare yourself to.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and my book, Swallowed Whole by My Emotions, depicts my journey through living with Borderline Personality and Bipolar Disorders.

Not only does it feature beautiful photography from New York State, it doubles as a self-help journal with shadow work questions to help you discern where your emotions are rooted from in the past and how to combat those feelings and accept them now.

Now that my book Swallowed Whole is finally published,

I have started some new projects and set new goals!

  • Selling my candles called Mental Health Day
  • Planning and hosting a local Poetry Reading Event called "Poetry on the Parkway" this summer!
  • The next book in the series is Swallowed Whole by Love! It is a love themed poetry book featuring photographs of romantic places found in CNY (To be published 2028-2029)
  • Designing coffee cups with my logo on them!

Inspiration Through Creativity

I aspire to inspire people like me to push through onto another day, and to do what scares them, because that is where growth happens. Creativity has always been an outlet I use because writing Poetry seems to come easy for me. This poetry is highly relatable as everyone goes through times where they need help. If you live with or know someone who lives with a mentally ill or struggling person, seek help. Call/Talk to your loved ones. They can't always reach out, so reach in!!!
